1. Who we are
“Lockr,” “we,” and “us” refer to the team operating lockr.app. “You” is the person or entity using the service.
2. What Lockr is — and isn't
Lockr is a software tool that helps traders enforce their own discipline rules and review behavior. Lockr is not:
- a broker, dealer, or registered investment advisor
- a source of trading recommendations or signals
- a guarantee of any financial outcome
- a substitute for risk management you do yourself
Trading futures, forex, equities, options, and crypto involves substantial risk of loss. You alone are responsible for the trades you place.
3. Your account
You need an active account to use Lockr. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in email secure and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to defeat your own locks by manipulating Lockr data outside the product UI (you'd only be cheating yourself, but still — we'll close the account).
- Scrape, reverse engineer, or interfere with Lockr's infrastructure.
- Use Lockr for any unlawful or harmful purpose.
- Resell access to Lockr without our written agreement.
5. Subscriptions and refunds
Free trials don't auto-charge — we collect billing only when you choose to start a paid plan. Subscriptions renew monthly or annually depending on the plan you pick. You can cancel any time; cancellation stops the next renewal but doesn't refund the current period unless we explicitly say so. The 30-day money-back guarantee on new paid plans is the exception — full refund within 30 days, no questions.
6. Intellectual property
Lockr, the lock mark, the discipline-score methodology, and the site design are ours. Your trading data, journal entries, and anything you create inside Lockr belong to you — we just store and process them on your behalf.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lockr is not liable for trading losses, missed gains, broker disputes, third-party outages, or consequential damages of any kind. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior twelve months.
8. Termination
You can close your account at any time from settings. We can suspend or close accounts that violate these terms — we'll tell you why and give you a way to export your data first, except for serious abuse.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction Lockr is incorporated in. Disputes go to the courts of that jurisdiction unless local law gives you a stronger forum.
10. Changes
We'll update these terms when we need to, and we'll email you about anything material. Continuing to use Lockr after an update means you accept the change.
